On May 17, 2000, Jose F. Altamirano Vallenas led our group on a tour of some of the ancient sacred sites of Cusco, the hub of the Inca empire. The Inca designed the city of Cusco in the shape of a puma. The temple of Sacsayhuaman, overlooking Cusco, represents the head of the puma.
At the center of the Inca Temple of the Sun in Cusco was the Qorikancha, or "golden courtyard". Here our group, (Howie, Tanya, Harry, Christine, Jose and Amaru) took a moment to observe an altar at the center of the courtyard. When I dowsed around the courtyard, my dowsing responses revealed a pattern of 28 lines, all intersecting at the center of the altar. The Qorikancha is situated to represent an energy center near the genitals of the puma.
The jagged walls of the the Temple of Sacsayhuaman are said to represent the teeth of the puma.
This is the remaining base of a tower discovered in 1934 at the top of the Temple of Sacsayhuaman. The Muyuqmarka consists of three concentric, circular stone walls connected by a series of radial walls. There are three channels constructed to bring water into what many scientists consider to be a reservoir. As I recorded my dowsing responses within the circle, I found a web-like pattern of 34 lines that intersected at the center and also a pattern of concentric circles that corresponded to the location of the circular walls.
