In May, 2000, I had a chance to visit some of the key power spots in South America when I went with a tour group to Peru. One of the first places we visited was the temple of Wilcahuain. It was built by the pre-Inca Wari culture around 1000 AD. The site consists of stone buildings with small windows and doorways leading to inner chambers. The structures were built without mortar and roofed with inclined slabs.

Our guide, David Gonzales Castromonte, pointed to this structure and said it was an ancient tomb. I thought it might be interesting to compare my dowsing responses at this site with the patterns I found at the Indian mounds in North America. So, I started dowsing around the tomb and located 19 lines all leading toward the center with a spiral pattern, winding clockwise away from the tomb. The pattern was similar to the combination radial line and spiral pattern I found at the Galbreath Mound in Ohio, but this spiral was moving in the opposite direction.
