After visiting the Great Circle earthwork on May 20th, 1999, I walked about 1/2 mile to Wright Earthworks State Memorial. The site consists of a couple of low earthen walls that form a corner of what was originally a 20 acre, square enclosure that was connected to the Great Circle by an avenue of parallel walls. It was difficult to get a picture of this site without including some modern artifacts in the background... (a welding factory and a house trailer).
